Track of the day: Michael Giacchino - Married Life

Okay so this is a bit of an unusual track for this feature. But I have had this stuck on repeat since I watched a copy of Pixar’s excellent Up! This could be summed up as the main theme of the film, scored during the very emotional life and death opening scene. The end piano refrain is used throughout the film to remind you of these early occurences and somehow retain the sadness that is felt when viewing Ellies sad death.
