Track of the day: The Shins - Simple Song
After a 5 year break, indie stalwarts The Shins are back and this could quite easily be the best song they have ever written (if it wasnt for the near-perfectness of New Slang). Here James Mercer & co craft another beautifully jangly and highly melodic tune that feels instantly familiar. Expectations for the new Shins album just elevated.

I love to hate you, SEGA.
I just played Nights: Journey of Dreams for the first time. The sections where you were NiGHTs were pretty good as long as she didnt talk. The other bits made me want to curl up and pretend that the Saturn was a success and the past 15 years of video game history didnt really happen and that the Dreamcast 2 is the only console on the market.
In summary.
My childhood = Ruined.
